Furniture by Steve began when Steve & his wife Courtney needed a new table. Unsatisfied with cheap veneer tables and exorbitantly priced solid wood tables, Steve went to the garage and made them a table. Now their family loves to gather around their handcrafted, solid wood table with a story and an author.
Over 1,000 Tennessee families now gather at Furniture by Steve tables each night to eat and laugh together. Steve works with each customer individually to create the perfect piece for their space.
Over the years Steve refined the table making process to get you the highest quality handmade tables at reasonable prices. That process is now in the hands of Daniel Rhodes, a craftsman who spent four years working alongside Steve in the shop before taking ownership of Furniture by Steve. Every table is still built by hand from kiln dried lumber right here in Nashville.
We make tables that will last a lifetime, and may even get passed down to your kids! We call them Forever Tables.

Hi! I'm Daniel, the new owner of Furniture by Steve. I spent four years working alongside Steve in this shop before taking over the business and in that time I built hundreds of tables for families across Middle Tennessee.
